Siemens and PANA Infrastructure Forge Landmark Partnership to Transform Nigeria’s Power Sector

Siemens CEO Sabine Dall’Omo, and Chairman of PANA Holdings, Dr. Daere Akobo, have taken another significant step in their robust plan to modernize Nigeria’s electric power infrastructure.

In a formal ceremony at the Presidential Residence, attended by His Excellency President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the President of Germany, Frank-Walter Steinmeier, PANA Infrastructure and Siemens signed a landmark Memorandum of Understanding to collaborate on the provision of Meter Data Management Systems.

This was witnessed by Johannes Lehne, Deputy Head of Mission, German Embassy, and the CEO, Nigerian Investment Promotion Commission (NIPC), Aisha Rimi.

This strategic partnership between Siemens, a global technology leader, and PANA Infrastructure, a key player in Nigeria’s energy sector, underscores a shared commitment to advancing grid automation and smart infrastructure solutions.

The collaboration is a pivotal move to address Nigeria’s electricity challenges, laying the foundation for sustainable economic growth and technological progress across the region.
